KATE MALONE
Kate has spent the past 15 years working across various roles within Queensland Arts, delivering events, festivals, and shows in theatres, tents & open air. As Executive Producer, she has worked extensively around Australia and internationally with Casus Circus, Briefs Factory, Company 2 (now Chelsea McGuffin & Co), Hoopla Clique and Woodford Folk Festival. Kate has served on peer assessment panels for Arts funding and international circus platforms and, in 2020, was awarded a Brisbane City Council Artistic Fellowship.
Kate has worked with major festivals worldwide and has a vast knowledge of the international circus market. She specialises in Export Market Development Grant opportunities through Austrade and is passionate about audience development in understanding the circus's art form.
